Dakiler 0 Posted September 10, 1999 Does anyone know if there is any SMP support for Unral? If so, how do you enable it? Share this post Link to post
SHS 0 Posted September 10, 1999 unsupported. Official support game's only 1 & that is Quake3. Applications there are 6 1 Graphics the other 5 are CAD Share this post Link to post
Durt 2 Posted September 10, 1999 When I boot up my Unreal server, I notice that the program detects how many CPUs you have. This doesn't mean it supports SMP but it may be a clue of things to come with Unreal Tournament. Share this post Link to post
Dakiler 0 Posted September 14, 1999 Thanks for the answer..... Im a bit shocked about how few apps and games that realy support SMP. Ahh well, life goes on :-) Share this post Link to post

Seldzar 0 Posted September 30, 1999 What i wnat to know is where did this unreal supports smp come from? I would actually like to see some proof of that as well as how to enable it. Share this post Link to post
Robor 0 Posted October 4, 1999 Unreal does not support SMP. I believe it was Tim Sweeny that answered that question a long time ago in the forum. It does detect multiple CPU's on start but it does not take advantage of them. As far as I know Unreal Tournament is based on the same engine as Unreal so it shouldn't support SMP either. Unless they add support later which I doubt... Rob Share this post Link to post
Seldzar 0 Posted October 6, 1999 Thank you, simple and concise. I didn't think it supported smp. Share this post Link to post
