System shock 2 DEMO &win2k rc1

runninng shock2.exe this message appears

"This product cannot be installed on windows nt due to a Microsoft Directx 6.1 limitation"

I tried to modify all inside executable with SETWIN95 (setup.exe etc) but the same message

appears everytime.

In this site there is "yes on windows 2000" for System shock 2 then if I bypass installation it would be work correctly.

Suggestions?
