piresm 0 Posted February 6, 2000 I installed WINDOWS 2000 over Windows 98 (Upgraded) and everything works great. EXCEPT Rogue Spear. I have Voodoo 3 with Win 2000 drivers, 128 MB Ram, PIII with ABIT Motherboard. I get the game to run, but it runs REAL slow. Choppy etc. This should run like a champ (like half life). SOMEONE HELP PLEASE.... Share this post Link to post
riz 0 Posted February 6, 2000 SOrry, this aint a solution, just wanted to say i got the same problem, but i noticed that i don't get that problem when playing multiplayer too much. When i play single player, it's like watching a really bad .asf movie: the frame rate keeps changing and the game seems to pause every 2 seconds. Really weird and very annoying. riz P2-300MMX on Intel 440lx Viper v550 (TnT) 192Mb SDRAM Yamaha PCI Audio Acer 32x CDROM/Mitsume 4801TE CD-R 6.4Gb Hd Windows 2000 Final 2195 Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted February 9, 2000 If you want everything to work fine in NT then you should reformat your drive then put the drive to NTFS. I have roguespear and have no problems Share this post Link to post
Xetenor 0 Posted February 9, 2000 I had the same problem. I converted from a FAT32 to NTFS and now my Rogue Spear is working under WIn 2k with my Voodoo Banshee 16 meg PCI. ------------------ Windows 2000 Pro owns! Share this post Link to post
Habsrulz 0 Posted February 9, 2000 There is now a patch for Windows 2000 on the Rogue site. Share this post Link to post
riz 0 Posted February 9, 2000 Habsrulz what patch? I can't find it anywhere. Are you talking about the 2.05 patch? I'm still getting chronic pauses through out the game, though it's not as bad in multiplayer mode. riz Share this post Link to post

Ekstreme 0 Posted February 10, 2000 Easiest way I found so far, was to sign up with Mplayer and let it update it for you. All works bweaut!! Now, if only we could fix the sticking keys..... Share this post Link to post
