Dobbs 0 Posted February 17, 2000 I have found that Madden 2000 works under Windows 2000 using a Voodoo 3 3000 and the widely released hacked beta drivers... However, it is impossible to play it online. I have tried both through their EA Football Net matching service, and a direct IP to IP game. Neither worked; they just hang at the authentication step of the connection initiation. Anyone experience a similar problem? Share this post Link to post

Dobbs 0 Posted February 17, 2000 Er, can you be a little more descriptive? You mean to say that you have tried to play online and it authenticates fine for you? Share this post Link to post

Dobbs 0 Posted February 17, 2000 Uhh.... okay... Well, you've um, been very helpful... I think that Madden doesn't like my Athlon very much because I have other problems playing it under Win98 SE. The players jerk all around playing online, even when I have a 50 ms ping. I've tried all kinds of driver sets too, clean install, everything, and nothing works. Share this post Link to post
