evil Homer 0 Posted February 20, 2000 Now I'm confused... Eversince RC2, I've never been able to get Fifa2k to run in Win2k. Now, when going to the main page on NT Compatible, someone has posted a result saying it runs fine. Details would be appreciated, as I get an exception error all the time... And I'm sure a lot of people get the same thing. Retail version of Fifa 2000. Windows 2000 (2195) (Game Compatability update) Pentium III 450 Creative Riva TNT2 Ultra (With Creative 3.76 drivers) SB Live (Dell Driver and Liveware) 192 Mb RAM. Someone must be able to run it, if they reckon it works ok. Laters... evil Homer Share this post Link to post

evil Homer 0 Posted February 20, 2000 I just tried reinstalling it again under Win2k and it installed okay, allowed me to select my vid card and res. Started up okay, then dropped back to the desktop before the EA Sports intro. Furthest I've got, but not quite where I want to be if you know what I mean. I get the same thing with Superbikes 2000 too. Gets past the EA Sports logo, then drops back to the desktop. The only EA Sports game I've got to work is NHL 2000. This is really annoying now. Whoever it was who got Fifa2k to work, PLEASE provide some details. Cheers. evil Homer Share this post Link to post

evil Homer 0 Posted February 20, 2000 Ok, I downloaded the EA patch 1.0 that was released some time back, and still no success. I've even tried it in software mode, in case it was the TNT causing the problem, but again no success. This is the only thing holding me back from killing Win98 from my system completely. evil Homer Share this post Link to post
