Hellstorm 0 Posted February 24, 2000 I can't update Opposing Force, because when I try to update, I get the error message: Half-Life Opposing Force is not installed on the system. But I have installed it several times, and with the same error-message. What shall I do?? Please Help. I run Windows 2000 2195. Share this post Link to post
Jerry - 0 Posted February 25, 2000 Did you try reinstalling it and Halflife together? If so did you patch halflife to 1015 from the patch on the Opfor cd? And Trust me you'll get nothing but trouble if you run a warez or hosed version of halflife with Opforce Share this post Link to post
Hellstorm 0 Posted February 25, 2000 Hi and thanks for the reply. I have the original CD's Half-life and Opposing force (no warez) Should I install Half-Life another time? I installed Half-life 1.0 and I updated half-life with 1.0.1.5 patch from the cd, and then the 1.0.1.6 patch. And then I installed opposing force. When I try to use the opfor1001.exe patch i get the error message. Any clues? Share this post Link to post
ZiZooM 0 Posted March 5, 2000 well the best to do is to install in this order ... Half life 1.05 then opp force then opp force patch then patch to 1.016 hope it will work ! ------------------ God gave me life, the AwP gives me the strength ! So let me shoot them all, and let God sort them out ! Share this post Link to post
