Per Eklund 0 Posted July 20, 1999 I recently installed Win2k RC1. I have a TNT2 card with working DirectX and OpenGL drivers. But it seems that even if I set the desktop to f.e. 85Hz, alll games run at 60Hz. Is this a known problem? Per Share this post Link to post
Philipp 6 Posted July 22, 1999 Yes, same in Win 9x. For Win95/98 exists a tool (HZ Tool) - http://hem.passagen.se/doxx/ that allow to select the refresh rate. I didn´t tried it on Windows 2000. Share this post Link to post
Bartonion 0 Posted August 1, 1999 Hey CM, where is here? I looked under downloads and dont see it! And I just tried HzTool 1.04 under win2k and it said it does not work under NT. Share this post Link to post
Bartonion 0 Posted August 1, 1999 Never mind ...the word "here" was not noticably highlighted. I guess I need to change my color scheme. THANKS Share this post Link to post
Bartonion 0 Posted August 2, 1999 This fix works but you HAVE to run dxdiag.exe and set the override setting in the "more help" box. Share this post Link to post
Prince Vaillant 0 Posted March 23, 2000 Hey the link you provide (http://home.swipnet.se/tristan/files/DirectDrawRefreshRateFixWin2k/Ddrawfix.zip) is right dead by now. My system need a fix cause the dxdiag override does not work at all with my TNT 2 and the .inf tweaking lead a side effect that prevent me from using. What do this fix is making ? DocSilly 0 Posted March 24, 2000 I don't know if this fix will also work for your TNT2 ... it works great for my CL Anni Pro Check out this thread and see if it'll also work for you. ------------------ DocSilly members.bigfoot.com/~albern Share this post Link to post
Prince Vaillant 0 Posted March 24, 2000 I'm very glad all of you in this forum are very nice trying to help with that matter. But every fix report to that .inf tweaking which can't be apply without bugs on my PC. That thread, DocSilly, concern the .inf once again. Thank you however and I hope nvidia will wake up.
