krono 0 Posted May 4, 2000 I have tried everything, I mean Everythimg!!!!UT,Quake 3,Quake 2 make my Win2k go to standby after a certain amount of time playing(tried up[censored] bios,video drivers,games and so on). Please help!!!!!!!!!! got a PIII 500,ATI Rage Fury,320 RAM think it might be video drivers and not acpi,still to download the new video drivers that came out a couple of days ago -thank you Share this post Link to post

krono 0 Posted May 5, 2000 Oh yeah,even tried deleting acpi.sys(desperate idea),uninstalling the entire power management from win2k,but that caused all the drivers to be uninstalled as well.No success,and it automatically reinstalls everything. oh yeah i also got an ASUS p3bf motherboard [This message has been edited by krono (edited 05 May 2000).] Share this post Link to post
