The new release is available from ftp.gnome.org and its mirrors as soon as its synced correctly: http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/pygtk/2.23/ Note: PyGTK 2.24 will be the last release in the PyGTK series. It will support the GTK-2.24 API. New users wising to develop Python applications using GTK are recommended to use the GObject-Introspection features available in PyGObject. Existing authors of PyGtk applications are also recommended to port their applications to PyGObject if they wish to take advantage of new features appearing in GTK-3.0 and beyond.
