hteles 0 Posted May 11, 2000 Welcome to the Club (NT & FIFA 2000). Forget it. Bye. Share this post Link to post
Damien 0 Posted May 11, 2000 Sorry to say this, but FIFA 2000 just won't work under NT - apparently there are no plans to release an update. Share this post Link to post
Gamemaster59 0 Posted May 12, 2000 I think you need to get the cd crack then it works Share this post Link to post
ParaDoX 0 Posted May 12, 2000 It's the CD protection system that is incompatible with Win2K Gamemaster: Getting it cracked doesn't help either. Share this post Link to post
Damien 0 Posted May 12, 2000 I'm no expert when it comes to cd protection systems, but my guess would be that Win 2K doesn't allow low level access to the CD Drive - Win 98 probably does, and this may be why the game falls over under Win 2K. Share this post Link to post
IMarshal 0 Posted May 14, 2000 What's frustrating is that I remember it working in Windows 2000 beta 3. It stopped working in RC1 or RC2, which indicates to me that it's probably a simple issue to fix if EA would get off their asses and provide some minimal support to Windows 2000 users.
