Brian Schneider 0 Posted May 14, 2000 Hi, I'm using a voodoo3 on win2k, but am unimpressed. The voodoo3 performs the same as my Banshee does. So I was planning on getting a TNT2 ultra, and am just wondering if I can expect significant improvement. Crash99 0 Posted May 16, 2000 I would go hogwild and just get a GeForce type card...anyways, you might want to try the wickedgl driver...It has boosted the performance of voodoo based cards in windows, and might help you get some better results w/o having to upgrade yet...don't have the site on hand, but it is easy to find Share this post Link to post
peterro 0 Posted May 16, 2000 If u are going to buy a new card now, don't go for anything less than a GeForce, in power I mean. Buying a TNT2 now, with GeForce2 and ATIs Radeon out/on the way would be a waste of money.
