Problems with counterstrike for Half-life and win2k

when I run a Counter-Strike server it gets to the point of buildserver and then I get this popup that says "NET_GetPacket: WSAECONNRESET" and it closes half-life, I had no problems in win98, and Im running win2k pro final now... any ideas on how to fix this?

just htought I'd mention I have the same problem..and on occasion, I lose sound when going back into it

yes this is a known issue and i dont think much can be done yet.

one time i did see that someone had ajusted the memory information on a dos shortcut and that fix the info

this issue is suppose to be resolved with the next valve patch... so until then, sit tight

Just turn the desktop colors down to 16bit or 24bit, don't use 32bit
