Hi,

I can't help you fix this problem because I feel you have a very un-common problem.

UO runs so excellent under Win2k I couldn't believe it.

UO's bad memory leaks are handled very well by Win2000, I can play UO for 4-5 hours (If I want/need to) without the need to re-boot.

I have only had one issue with Win2000 & UO, when the last patch came out I simply couldn't install it (however people report this problem under all platforms)

Do the usuall check for updated drivers yada yada yada

hmmm.... i have all the newest drivers except for my tnt2u which i am afraid to install the newest ones because i have heard that the detonator 2 drivers suck worse than all the other 5.xx drivers.....

i noticed that UO did the same thing to me when I had my pc running in ACPI mode, but after i reinstalled win2k and selected standard pc, no more problems

hmmm.... this seems to be the solution i've heard but it doesnt seem to have done anything. although i can say that uo hasnt froze in a long time but i dont know what i did except changing my mouse from usb to ps2 since the usb would randomly stop working... i wouldnt think this would have anything to do with uo freezing. hehe... also anybody know where to get that ps2 refresh rate changer thing?
