Ground control and 2000?

I just picked up Ground Control, and for some reason, software mode runs better than hardware!

 

System:

-Windows 2000 Pro

-PIII 733 Coppermine

-256MB RDRAM

-90GB HD (45+30+20)

-TNT1 16MB PCI (it's not the card, as I can get amazing FPS in other games, in both OpenGL and D3D)
