cthulhu 0 Posted June 16, 2000 sorry if this question has been posed in the forum before.. i am not an avid gamer but quake2 was a classic for me and i did waste a lot of time in GX in my win98 days. quake2 installs properly.. but it will not run in open gl. when i select default opengl mode i get the error message: GLimp_EndFrame()-Swap Buffers() Failed i have a tnt1 and have installed the latest nvidia detonator drivers for win2k [ver 5.22] don't seem to have any problems with other games Share this post Link to post
euankirkhope 0 Posted June 16, 2000 run regedit goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\OpenGLDrivers delete the contents and make a new string called: RIVATNT and set the value to nvoglnt EG: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\OpenGLDrivers] "RIVATNT"="nvoglnt" Share this post Link to post
spacey 0 Posted June 18, 2000 do you delete the RIVATNT folder/key in the OpenGLDrivers? and then add in the string value? Share this post Link to post
