EJ 0 Posted June 19, 2000 When I am playing Q3 in Win 2000 I have a horriable refresh rate. I have tried changing the resolution of q3 to the same as my desktop hoping that it would use the same refresh rate as my desktop (100 Htz). I have also changed my desktop to 800*600 and jacked up the refresh rate to 120 htz and then treid to play q3 at that resoultion with no luck. Any ideas? Anything that I can do? Any help would be appreciated. I have no problems with anything else. My system is P3 500 Abit BE6 256 MB RAM Viper V770 Share this post Link to post
*Iblis* 0 Posted June 19, 2000 pull down the console and type /r_displayrefresh xx where xx is the refresh rate you want to play it inyou will need to do a /vid_restart afterwards before the refresh rate changes to run this automatically put the follwing line in your autoexec.cfg file seta r_displayrefresh xx Share this post Link to post
