Needles 0 Posted August 26, 2000 I just bought the US version of GP3 and I can't get it to run on W2K Pro. From the start-up screen when you insert the CD it goes to a blue screen with an error message. I've tried using a compatibility tool included on the W2K cd but it says I have a debugger runner which I'm unaware of. So now I'm stuck. Any ideas??? I got a SB Live; DXR3; Norton antivirus; Adaptec Easy CD creator 4; TNT 2 M64. Thanks in advance. Share this post Link to post
Kaiser 0 Posted August 26, 2000 In order for us to help you out with this one, please provide answers to the following: 1. Your full system config 2. The exact details of any errors recieved. 3. Does the problem persit if all other running applications (eg: NortonAV, Winamp, Adaptec etc) are closed beforehand? 4. What version of the SBLive and Nvidia drivers you're using? 5. Anything else you think might be useful in resolving this. For the record tho, I've had no problems running GP3 on my Win98/Win2K system - don't even need to use the Compatibility Tool, but reply with the answers to the above and I'll see if I can help you out. Needles 0 Posted August 26, 2000 Actually, I got this one figured out. I don't know if there is some sort of problem with the copywrite protection on the cd but I downloaded a fixed .exe from gamecopyworld.com and now it is working perfectly. Share this post Link to post
