euro71vw 0 Posted August 14, 2000 I had this problem. If you had Q3 installed on another operating system, lets say win98se, and you ran Wicked Gl or some other program used to help make Q3 fly, then it might have installed an opengl driver in the main Q3 folder. Since Q3 will look in the main folder for a driver first, you need to check to make sure that there are no opengl drivers in there. Q3 will then have to look outside of the folder and should find your other drivers for you. This fixed my problem. PII 450 130 m. ram Voodoo 3 3000. Use the newest beta drivers!! nagual 0 Posted August 14, 2000 you shouldnt use the default opgengl driver but the one wicked gl has issued, just install it under win2k as well and itll work fine..does for me anyway (w v3) Share this post Link to post
Behemoth 0 Posted September 11, 2000 I downloaded the latest W2K Voodoo 3 drivers for me 2000 AGP card, intstalled Qake 3 and away it went. Granted the auto installer of the V3 driver didn't work but once the driver has been extracted then make a note of where it was extracted to and install the driver manually.
