radu185 0 Posted August 26, 2000 try deleting the gimmie.dll in the main dir of NFS5 that should fix it, if not, look for a patch, i think theres atleast one out Share this post Link to post
BigBucks 0 Posted September 6, 2000 Check out: http://www.ntcompatible.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/001301.html where I suggested a treatment for that. Your minimum swapfile size has to be smaller. Mine is 256 to 500 Mb on a system witm 256 Mb RAM. It works. Didn't work with minimum size on 384 Mb Share this post Link to post
DoomLurker 0 Posted September 8, 2000 I know they got it to run on the compatibility pages but on the NFS5 tech page it says that it was never intended to run on W2k. Dunno. Share this post Link to post

Jester 0 Posted September 11, 2000 Right click on "My Computer", then under Advanced/Performance Options you can find your control for your swap file (aka virtual memory). Share this post Link to post
