Defcon 0 Posted October 13, 2000 I know about the crash-to-desktop problem with this game under 2000 (the uninstall-patch-reinstall idea in the other thread doesn't work), but now I've started seeing this exact same behaviour, i.e the game exiting to the desktop after the EA intro, in Win98SE too !! And I haven't been able to find a website for this game - the official EA sports page only has a lik to superbike 2000 Share this post Link to post
jdulmage 0 Posted October 13, 2000 well I don't know what to tell you, I mean the game runs fine in win2k/whistler/9x all on my machine, don't ask how or why, it just does but maybe make sure that you have the latest video card drivers and BIOS, etc. Make sure all patches are downloaded. And even if you have to or want to, install the latest DX8 beta. Share this post Link to post

MoreLight 0 Posted October 14, 2000 MAC when I saw your post, I thought finally I'm going to play this f'ing game. Uninstalled and cleaned the registry. Re-installed the game, did exactly what you said. Still get the "EA Sports Its So Lame" deal and BAM its back to the desktop. Curses.....foiled again. Share this post Link to post
