usbnuts 0 Posted October 31, 2000 Hi, when I tried to run a few D3D games on W2k platform, the screen goes blank. I can still hear the music, but there's nothing displaying. In DXDIAG, I saw that Direct3D is disabled. The option to enable it isn't available. Can anyone help? Share this post Link to post

usbnuts 0 Posted October 31, 2000 hi, i have a ViperII video card, 1024x768 16bpp, 75Hz, all D3D games fail. Only OpenGL works, such as Half Life, Q3, Elite Force. i got the driver from nVidia last week. it should be the latest. Share this post Link to post

EM 0 Posted October 31, 2000 Actually the Viper II according to Diamond is using the S3 Savage 2000 chipset. Agreeing with jdulmage, I would start by looking for correct drivers for the card chipset.
