Matt Beale 0 Posted August 8, 2000 Looks like you need to use the MSDOS 8.3 style filename. Try the following command - d:\sierra\viper racing\setwin95.cmd viperr~1.exe ------------------ Matt Beale matthew@thebeales.worldonline.co.uk Smegsite Share this post Link to post
X-AL 0 Posted August 8, 2000 Hi there, actually I don´t know why you´re using setwin95, when you could use apcompat.exe (you can find that tool on the W2K-CD). Run apcompat.exe, checkmark NT5, and link the autoplay.exe of the Viper-CD to be run. The Viper Racing start´up screen appears, then click play and have fun! (FYI: The same procedure works for Microprose´s EAW, too) Share this post Link to post

maximus17 0 Posted November 21, 2002 If you are having troubles playing the multiplayer version on windows 2000. Do this: 1. Create a shortcut to 'Viper Racing.exe' 2. Goto the properties of the shortcut and add -nocanary to the end of the shortcut 3. This will let you run it FULLY under windows 2000!!! Hope this helps! Share this post Link to post
