jkelly 0 Posted February 4, 2001 Apologies for asking such a dated question. I am attempting to install Baldur's Gate 1 on a WinNT 4.0 (6a) machine. I saw that it was listed as being compatible on NTcompatible.com's list. Attempting to run the install from either the game's launcher or using the setup.exe directly from the disk results in the following error: "Can't run 16-bit Windows program. Insufficient memory to run this application. Quit one or more Windows applications and then try again." My RAM and hard drive space are both well beyond the listed system requirements, and this was the only application I was running. After reading through some on-line FAQs, I created a shortcut to the setup.exe file and specified that it use its own seperate memory space. This did not solve the problem. MediaPlayer appears to be functioning correctly. I couldn't find anything in this lists' archives that I thought would relate. Any advice would be appreciated.
