I am completely new to this, and havent a clue whether or not some of this is relevent. Could somone/someones please tell me which or if all of these hardware components are compatible with Red Hat 9.0. Here is the list. (from monarchcomputer.com) Motherboard- Gigabyte 7n400pro-2 Nforce2 Processor- AMD Athalon XP 2700 Memory- 2- 256mb DDR(333)2700 Copper OCZ Hard Drive- 2- SATA Seagate 80 GB Barracuda 7200 RPM RAID 1 Cd-RW- ASUS CRW-5224A 52*24*52 CD-RW IDE FlextraLink Floppy- Mitsumi 3.5 Video Card- MSI G4 MX440 T8x 64MB AGP TV-Out Well I think that is it, Thanks for all of the advice, Dan Share this post Link to post
egorgry 0 Posted November 6, 2003 The only thing I would be worried about is SATA drives. I'm a Debian user so I'm not sure what RedHat has done to support these drives. You may want to do some google searches on SATA support in linux. Share this post Link to post
