Dr.Spock 0 Posted November 16, 2000 I am having a problem getting Racer to work under Windows2000. It installed correctly, but when i go to run the game, it exits and doesn't give me any error messages. I get to the blue bar, and it fills to about 95%. Then, it just exits and that's it. I am thinking it might be a video card problem. I am running the Creative Annihilator Pro DDR w/ 6.47 detonator 3 drivers. Has anybody else experienced this problem? Does anybody have any solutions? I also have a problem with Star Wars Racer on Win2000 (reboots after thermometer bar), but I thought (perhaps mistakenly) that it was a Win95/98 compatibility problem. Perhaps it is a video problem. I am using an ATI Rage Fury XPert 2000 pro, driver 5.0.0.139. Is there anywhere I can find out if it is a video problem? TIA, Alan Share this post Link to post

Downloaded and installed the latest driver (5.13.01.192) - Racer now works a treat! Now my problem is with Quake III Arena on W2K, but I'll start another thread for that. BTW, what are you referring to when you say "the 6.3 works...". Was that for the Creative Annihilator Pro in the original message, or the ATI Rage Pro that I was referring to?
