Dos program, not full screen = frozen ?

I'm using NT 4.0 and I was wondering if there was a way to run a Dos program NOT fullscreen and not have it become frozen. I'm trying to run ZSNES in a window and would like to know if I can do this...

Generally, no. Usually, only text-based DOS programs can be displayed in a window. You could try Snes9x instead (windows based). The latest version of Snes9x has proper network support making it almost as good in every respect as ZSnes.

Well, I'm actually trying ZSnes just to see if the Netplay capabilities are faster than Snes9x.. I can find documentation on Zsnes netplay but not Snes9x because their site is down... anyone know of any tweaks for Snes9x multiplay?
