Half-Life crash problem!!!

I start to play Halflife on a server, then the image suddenly freezes..

and then I have to restart my machine...I NEED to play CS, so can anybody help me ??

Do you have the latest 1.1.0.6 patch installed? Also please provide some system specs

AMDK6-2 450 MHZ cpu

VooDoo 2 12MB graphic
