DVD filters

I can't get Xing DVD player to work on win2k build 2183, windvd works on it but i prefer xing, also how come either win2k or xing, or windvd don't use filters and where can i get the filters if possible

only windvd and powerdvd work in win2k. thats how it is for now so tuff! ;o)
