Mik 0 Posted January 26, 2000 In Win2000 Pro, my MX300 is deteced and configured seemingly properly as Vortex Multifunction Parent, Aureal Vortex 8830 Audio (WDM), and Aureal Vortex Game Port. Unfortunately, the card sounds as if it's adding a loud buzz filter to whatever it plays. The card worked fine when I first installed the OS but began this weird behaviour today. Any suggestions? Seldzar 0 Posted January 26, 2000 Uninstall the card from device manager and ensure any driver files were removed. Then reboot and let windows install it again. Share this post Link to post
