riz 0 Posted January 29, 2000 Okay, I've never used NT at all, Win2000 is my first attempt at NT. The problem I have is that although I have one login for myself on my computers (and I obviously have Admin privileges), but when I install a game or software on my system, it sometimes adds the Start Menu items under my name and sometimes under the "ALL USERS" name in the Document & Settings Folder. IT does this also with the shortcuts on the desktop. I see everything that I want on the screen, but it's sorta annoying when you're trying to look at your start menu folder and you have to keep switching back and forth in explorer to see which shortcut is placed under what name. Any thoughts on how to make it so that all shortcuts/software/etc is always installed under ALL USERS or something? Help much appreciated, heh riz Share this post Link to post
