rlkermit 0 Posted January 30, 2000 Here is a problem maybe you can help us all with. I am running ICQ 99b on a computer which is connecting to the Win2K box therefore getting Internet from the Win2K box. My ICQ on that computer is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting to the ICQ network. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks Share this post Link to post

evil Homer 0 Posted February 3, 2000 Ok, I may be being stupid here, but I suffer from the same problem. I have a Win2k box connecting to the internet, and then my Win2k system connecting via ICS. I've configured the client to the settings above, but where do I set the server settings, as I am unable to figure this out... evil Homer Share this post Link to post
SHS 0 Posted February 4, 2000 Same place where you turn on Internet Connection Sharing at, see the setting button . Share this post Link to post

evil Homer 0 Posted February 7, 2000 Okay, another problem has surfaced. I've setup the settings on the client and the server, but the client still gets randomly disconnected, and I lose messages from people when this happens. Anyone with some solutions to this problem. Both systems are Win2k 2195, ICS sharing with the port numbers and so forth already noted. ICQ99b Latest build 3.19 Rev A on both machines. Cheers evil Homer Share this post Link to post
