brain_net 0 Posted February 9, 2000 I can't boot win2k, after i installed win98 in another partition.. the things i copy "ntldr, ntdetect.com, boot.ini, bootsect.dos" to the c:\ drive ( the partition where WIN2k is ), but when i set that partition active.. it doesn't do anything.. here is the boot.ini froom the bootable floppy [boot Loader] Timeout=5 Default=C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\BOOTSECT.DAT [Operating Systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINNT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional" /fastdetect C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\BOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Setup" This ini boots smooth when run from the floppy, but when i try to run from the HD>. nothing happens!
