Igor 0 Posted February 12, 2000 Commercial software has on average 1 bug per 1000 lines of code. With 40 Mill. lines of code in WIn2k the estimated number of bugs (known/unknown) is around 600,000 !! So a few thousands that they know off is just the begining. Share this post Link to post
ThC 129 0 Posted February 12, 2000 They aren't bugs they are just a reason to make a new version Share this post Link to post
MarksmanX 0 Posted February 12, 2000 I just hope when I buy Windows 2000 this Thursday that it will atleast operate like the final build is at this moment I don't want it to become like 98. I must have seen " KERNEL32.DLL ERROR " over 1,000 times with 95 and 98. I don't want to see this with Windows 2000 But I was expecting some bugs but not 63,000! I shouldn't be so quick to come to conclusions I still have faith that it will operate well when I do my format of my primary drive Share this post Link to post

DocSilly 0 Posted February 12, 2000 Bwahaha, maybe it's true ... but this bug-infested piece of OS runs much much better then the Win95 first release. I'll stay with Win2000. It's only a few months to the Service Pack 1 which will fix most of the "defects" ... Share this post Link to post
