grimm 0 Posted March 22, 2000 I'm experiencing problems with my CD-R softwares, I upgraded to adaptec easy cd creator 4.02, seems to work but when I leave a blank CD in my recorder, the application is terminated.. anyone with the same problem ? Share this post Link to post
Ekstreme 0 Posted March 22, 2000 I can't use EZ CD Creator at all! If I do, I get ASPI errors along with many many coasters. I thought the 4.02 patch might fix some 2k issues, but now, the program won't even start. Good old Dr watson decides he wants to play too! My sollution was to use Nero. I't as easy to use, and it works!! [This message has been edited by Ekstreme (edited 22 March 2000).] Share this post Link to post
grimm 0 Posted March 22, 2000 I noticed EZCD4.02 was working perfectly even after my screen saver started (monitor shutdown).. but when I leave a blank CD in the tray, closed. it hangs EZCD, but anyway it works perfectly, I burned a 70minutes Audio cd.. satisfied. as for you, Try uninstalling Adaptec, and the update. reinstall adaptec and then the update. maybe something hapened with the aspi drivers ... jayntguru 0 Posted March 23, 2000 I gave up on 4.X because they were all unreliable. I use 3.5b and can burn CD's all day long while doing all sorts of stuff. I haven't gotten one single cd to burn with 4.X without making a coaster... -Jay Share this post Link to post
comdot 0 Posted March 24, 2000 adaptec 4.01 works great on win2k if you extract all files to a folder first then burn from that image even @ 4x. I can surf and open other folders, and the buffer does'nt drop below 100%.So far i like win2k alot better than 98, i just can't find drivers for my lex3200 printer or my plustek u12 scanner Share this post Link to post
kasnitch 0 Posted March 24, 2000 for now I think ver 4.01 is the way to go. I have two Plextors with adaptec 2940 scsi and have had no problems with win 2k. all the features including spindoctor have worked without fail. Cdrwin 3.70 also works flawlessly. Share this post Link to post
