APV 0 Posted March 28, 2000 Hi, Today after I goto admin tools and look at things, (didn't change any settings) my event log under application log i got an error everytime i boot, source is Perfnet and error message is unable to open the server service, server performance data will not be returned. Error code returned is in DWORD 0. any idea what this is? I am using Retail W2K Pro, haven't find anything different after this error but it appear everytime i reboot. Share this post Link to post
LoW_beta 0 Posted March 29, 2000 I used to get this error in the event viewer also but it stopped happening when I perfomed a clean install of Win2K and I didn't apply any so called registry tweaks to speed up my net connection. That might have something to do with it. Have you by chance applied any of the patches from Speedguide.net? Share this post Link to post
