Clayboy 0 Posted March 30, 2000 It looks like Microsoft sent me a copy of Windows 2000 Pro for no reason. The invoice says price - $0.00 and on the box there is a sticker that says Promotional Sample. Is this a time limited version? I can't find anything that says so anywhere on the box or the manual. And why would they send ME a copy of it. Doesn't make sense. Share this post Link to post

Win2kAllTheWay2 0 Posted March 31, 2000 Just Kidding, I'm a microsoft technet, and you can get help if you don't want it by emailing customer support. I think you can find it at http://support.microsoft.com/support/default.asp?SD=SO&FR=0 . But, I'd say be happy and don't complain Share this post Link to post
acidspray 0 Posted April 2, 2000 Did you happen to sign up for Microsoft's Windows 2000 SDK mailing and forget? It was supposed to ship in March. Of course, I think that was supposed to come with Server too... [This message has been edited by acidspray (edited 02 April 2000).] Share this post Link to post
