news 28 Posted September 25, 2012 gnome-keyring is the part of the GNOME Desktop that saves your passwords and encryption keys securely. libgnome-keyring is a library that allows applications to interact with the keyrings and passwords. libgnome-keyring is in the process of being deprecated and replaced by libsecret. This is a stable release.
