C/C++ Compiler's??

I have just tried to install Borland C++ 4.52 and couldnt get it to work. Are there any C/C++ compilers that do work ok (that are ideally old and/free!) with win2k?

I know that Borland have a command line version that is free, but I'd rather have a GUI.

Borland 5.0 works great.

 

 

BTW So does VB 6.0
