Dialup Connection Icon in System Tray

Recommended Posts

I am using NetZero as my dialup and one of the settings for the properties for the connection is to show the system tray icon. I like having it on so I can see when I am sending and receiving data. Now, if I am connected I can enable it, but once I disconnect and then reconnect I have to go back in an re-enable the system tray icon. I believe I had this working once. Does anyone know why Windows2K isn't saving this setting?

Thanks,

Mike

Are you using Nero 5.0 !!! if you are and was using Nero 4.0 and uninstalled it then installed Nero 5.0 it disables the dialup conection icon on the taskbar I am having the same Problem. It's definatly Nero that causes the problem because its only done this since I uninstalled Nero 4.0 and installed Nero 5.0.
