Does this mean, that all present versions of windows 2000 shall be out of date or is the 64 BIT version just for developers At the moment I am running the 120 day trial version of Windows 2000 and so dont really wont to spend out on Windows 2000 now if a new version is going to be released. Please help!!! Robert Share this post Link to post
CUViper 0 Posted July 12, 2000 64-bit Windows 2000 is for.... well.... 64-bit processors. In layman's terms, not for you. All pentiums, athlons, etc. are 32-bit. Intel's new Itanium processor will be 64-bit, and that is what the news releases are talking about. Share this post Link to post
