IE 5.5 and Norton AV 2k! Incompatible?

I have NAV2k running on my Win2k rig, so I decided to install IE 5.5

 

Now I get crashes and event log errors from IE 5.5.

 

Uninstall IE and everything is fine.

 

I reinstalled over the weekend, put IE 5.5 on, and everything was fine. Installed NAV2k, bang, there goes IE 5.5.

 

Anyone else had this? Or am I just going damned insane!!!!!

I have NAV2000 and IE5.5 running without any problems.

Is your NAV2000 up to date ?

Try to install NAV2000 first, update it and then install IE5.5 ...

No problems with Win2K, IE 5.5, and NAV2000 here.

I can confirm no issues here either.

Maybe you've got the mad update symantec unleashed some time ago; try to update your virus signatures with the last virus signatures released from symantec, that would (supposedly) fix it
