STi Sev 0 Posted July 24, 2000 DONT DO IT!!! It will screw up your entire virus protection program.. I know by experience.!! Share this post Link to post
cuke 0 Posted July 24, 2000 Listen man, I don't how come you are posting this stuff, and why but lets have some objective reasoned comments. Just saying don't install Norton AntiVirus beta is purely scaremongering. Details please, might add that seeing as you seem to be having so many problems with your system, which, by the way, I am not having with mine, I would look to your setup. Simply not enough to post up comments like that without details as to your system.... Chris Share this post Link to post
Exorcist 0 Posted July 24, 2000 Not sure what the hell he's on about I install Norton 2001 Beta, and it works fine - admittedly it doesn't like uninstalling, and trying to install Norton 2000 after a supposed uninstall of Norton 2001 leaves Norton 2000 looking like Norton 2001 (try it, you'll see what I mean) In any event, I'm waiting for Win2k SP1, then I'm reformatting and going back to Norton 2000 -Ex- Share this post Link to post
