KAM 0 Posted August 7, 2000 Hi there! I've a big problem here. I bought an ASUS P2B-D with 2 PIII 800, 512 MB RAM. 3D STUDIO MAX (any version) works perfectly on Win98. I've installed Win2000 Proffessional edition (for the support of the bi-processors) with the multi boot menu. 3D MAX is still working perfectly on win98, but on Win2000, when I try to open a big scenes in 3dmax, nothing happen.3dmax seems to load but stop.Always on Win2000, the little scenes make more time to be loaded than on W98. Donald2B 0 Posted August 7, 2000 I have been running 3D Studio Max on Win2k ever since beta 3 and have had little to no problems with Max except for crappy video drivers. First things first though....you said that you had Max installed under Win98. You need to reinstall it under Win2k to work properly. Second...What version of 3D Studio Max are you using? I need some more information about you system...ie. what video card are you using? driver version...etc.. Like I said, it is running incredibly fast for me and I have had no problems except for poor video drivers.
