When i load CDRWin i get this error message error:Unable to initialize the ASPI manager ASPI manager was not found on the system Then on clicking OK, CDRWin loads but neither my CDROM or burner show up Any idea's? YourMom 0 Posted August 12, 2000 Windows 2000 doesn't come with an ASPI layer like the Win9x series does. The only reason NERO works is because 'ahead' released their own ASPI manager with NERO. Try Yamaha's website for an ASPI manager. If that doesn't work, try downloading an ASPI manager from Adaptec. I'm not sure, but you may need an Adaptec controller for it to work though.... You may want to try looking for a third party ASPI manager on the web... I can't remember where to find it, but I know there is one out there. Good Luck! Share this post Link to post
