pr-man 1 Posted August 11, 2000 Im just wondering how the OS runs. Is it quicker than win98? Is it more or less stable than Win2k? I know its just in beta but I just want to here some testimonials. Does most software run on it now? ------------------ ***TRUST YOUR TECHNOLUST*** Share this post Link to post
EddiE314 0 Posted August 11, 2000 its not fair to compare a beta OS to a Retail Gold OS for the simple fact that it is what it is...beta. I thought that build 2223 was very unstable, i always got explorer.exe crashes, as for build 2250 or 2252 i don't know, i haven't used it yet. Share this post Link to post
ras 0 Posted August 11, 2000 Whistler is just windows 2000 with a few gui changes thats it i would not bother wasting your time its okay but nothing to shout about dont waste your bandwidth!!! As for people saying does it runs faster no because it is in essence windows 2000 at the moment. [This message has been edited by ras (edited 11 August 2000).] Share this post Link to post
