JetBlack69 0 Posted September 1, 2000 Well, I wanted to do a fresh re-install of windows 2000 so I could use the ACPI for my mobo. Anyhoo, when I try to choose the partition to install it on, it says I need to use a Windows 2000 compatible partition. What does that mean? I have them all on fat 32 and I want to keep it that way so I can dual boot with win98. The only drive it wants to install on it the one with all of my mp3s on it. I don't know what makes that drive so special. Please help me. ------------------ "I've got thirteen channels of $hit on the T.V. to choose from." - Pink Floyd Share this post Link to post
JetBlack69 0 Posted September 3, 2000 Well, I got it to work. When I tried to install it from booting from a CD, I would get the error. However, when I tried installing it from win98, it worked! Why didn't it work from booting from a cd? ------------------ "I've got thirteen channels of $hit on the T.V. to choose from." - Pink Floyd Share this post Link to post
