Mookie 0 Posted September 2, 2000 I have two 18GB SCSI drives. Drive 0 has two partitions: c:\ which is 2GB and currently has NT4 on it and d:\ (16GB) which has W2K Pro on it. I now want to get rid of NT4 on C:\ and install Win98SE there instead so I can still play the odd game (I find W2K games support is still pretty bad). How do I do this? The C:\ drive is formatted with FAT so can I just bung the Win98 CD and install to the C:\ drive over the top of NT4? If I do this what will happen to my dual boot menu? I still want W2K to be the default but the menu would need to lose NT4 and gain Win98. (Maybe I have to edit boot.ini myself?) I don't wanna just dive in and do it in case I screw it all up!! Anybody got any help for me on this one? Share this post Link to post
