VNC - unexpected reboots!

Whenever i start the viewer VNC my computer reboots within about a minute of using VNC. this is very disconcerting... any suggestions on how to stop the reboots?

 

(i have all the win2k updates)

right click on My computer, choose properties, advanced, startup and recovery, uncheck automatically reboot. click apply and restart the machine.
