Win2k Sp1 disk space - How much???????

Query on the amount of disk space the SP1 download takes. I run Win2k Professional and when I instlled it I have the Sp1 folder, about 140 meg, and the backup, over 200meg.

Seems alot. Can I delete any of these as approx 400 meg i total is alot space gone in a flash.

the backup isn't necessary so long as you intend on staying with SP1....I never create backups...

 

you should be able to safely delete the backup..but wait until someone else confirms it...I don't want to be responsible if your system goes screwy
