isochar 0 Posted October 2, 2000 I'm starting to have fairly regular crashes with explorer.exe. Really pisses me off since I have to restart/logoff to get my system tray icons back. It seems to happen most when I open the Start button or when using ie. One person recommended that I check the option in IE for opening windows in a new process. (Did that and it improved explorer.exe stability a bit) FYI, Win2k has been running stable for almost half a year now. Any recommendations? youhou 0 Posted October 5, 2000 or CTRL+SHIFT+ESC that will bring up the task manager directly ALT+F -> RETURN then launch iexplore. you'll see... with little habit that comes quite easy. like "damn it crashes again" CTRL+SHIFT+ESC ALT+F RETURN and there it goes again. Share this post Link to post
